Bone enters his second year in the athletic department after serving just more than a year as the director of events management at CBU. He was responsible for coordinating and supervising all major events and programs held on the campus. Bone also helped manage major summer conferences including the annual Barrett School of Banking Institute and numerous camps and workshops.

Prior to CBU, Bone was previously the marketing and promotions manager at the Memphis Motorsports Park for six years where he managed corporate hospitality accounts. Bone also developed sponsorships, group sales programs, event marketing projects and program advertising.

Bone also served as a facility and recreation supervisor at Fontbonne College in St. Louis, Mo. along with an internship with the St. Louis Sports Commission. A 1998 graduate of Fontbonne, Bone was a member of the Griffin baseball team, and earned a bachelor of science in business administration with a concentration in management. He spent two years at Lewis and Clark Community College, Godfrey, Ill., where he was also a member of the Trailblazer baseball team that finished third in the 1996 National Junior College Athletic Association Division II National Tournament.

Bone and his wife Jennifer live in Bartlett. They had their first child, Landon, in December.
