MEMPHIS--Christian Brothers University junior Stephen Hill (Collierville, Tenn./Houston HS) has been named the Gulf South Conference Runner of the Week after finishing 12th in the Pepperdine Invitational Saturday in Malibu, Calif.

Hill finished the 8k course in 25:18 as he defeated all other Division II runners and all but 11 Division I runners in the race.

Hill and the Bucs will be back in action next Saturday night, Oct. 6, in the Brooks Memphis Twilight Classic.
