Andy Scott enters his sixth year in the coaching ranks and his third at CBU as pitching coach. Scott spent the previous two years as an assistant/pitching coach at Rhodes College. Prior to Rhodes, he was pitching coach at Keuka College in Keuka Park, New York.

Scott's playing career began at Providence College in 1998, where he pitched for two seasons before transferring to Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, NC.

He compiled a 24-9 career record, helping Providence to a Big East Championship and an NCAA Tournament Regional Final in the program's final year of existence. He also helped Belmont Abbey to an NCAA tournament berth in 2001. Scott finished his career being named a pre-season All-American in 2002.
