MEMPHIS--Christian Brothers University junior forward Crystal Shelton (Nashville, Tenn./Hume Fogg HS) has been voted to the All-Gulf South Conference West Division Second Team by the league's coaches.

Shelton averaged 13.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in the regular season to help the Lady Bucs (18-9, 6-8 GSC West) return to the GSC Tournament for the first time in four years and just the third time since joining the conference.

Arkansas Tech forwards Krishna Baker and Amanda Grappe were named to the All-GSC West First Team along with Delta State guard Jennifer Rushing, Delta State center Lakira Boyd, and Harding guard Catherine McMenamy.

Rushing was named the GSC West Player of the Year for the second year in a row, while Delta State coach Sandra Rushing won her third straight GSC West Coach of the Year award. Ouachita Baptist guard Gabby Coleman was named the league's Freshman of the Year.

Shelton was joined on the Second Team by Arkansas-Monticello guard Andrea Dubose, Delta State guard Jessica Boyd, Southern Arkansas guard Goldie White, and Harding forward Stacey Owens.

Shelton and the Lady Bucs will be back in action tomorrow afternoon at 2:45 p.m. as they face North Alabama in the opening round of the GSC Tournament at the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven.
