Final Stats

CARROLLTON, Ga.--Host West Georgia scored two second-half goals to take a 3-1 Gulf South Conference victory over the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs Sunday afternoon.

The Lady Bucs (8-8-1, 2-5-1 GSC) scored first in the 24th minute as freshman defender Rachel Longley (Middlesbrough, England) scored her second goal of the season.

The Wolves (8-11, 3-5) struck back in the 35th minute as Samantha Jones scored. In the 49th minute, Mandy Nolin scored to put UWG ahead, and a 67th-minute Alex Udin goal provided the final margin.

The Wolves out-shot CBU 16-6, including an 8-5 margin in shots on goal.

The Lady Bucs will finish the season Tuesday night at Signaigo Field as they host Rhodes at 7 p.m.
