Final Stats

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark.--Arkansas Tech clinched a berth in the Gulf South Conference Tournament as they swept the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs 3-0 Thursday night.

The Golden Suns (21-11, 7-3 GSC West) stayed in third place in the West Division as they won 30-24, 30-25, 30-26.

Freshman outside hitter Michelle Hein (Tempe, Ariz./Corona del Sol HS) led the Lady Bucs (10-21, 0-11) with 14 kills and a .220 hitting percentage. Fellow freshman outside hitter Leigh Stavrum (Chattanoga, Tenn./Notre Dame HS) collected a match-best, and career-high, 20 digs.

The Lady Bucs will be back in action Tuesday night as they visit Rhodes. The game was originally scheduled to be at Canale Arena, but it has been moved to Rhodes.

CBU will finish the season at home Saturday afternoon against Arkansas-Monticello.
