MEMPHIS--The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs snapped a long losing streak Tuesday night as they defeated Rhodes 3-1.

The Lady Bucs (11-21) dropped the first game 30-28, but they won the final three 30-25, 30-27, and 30-19.

Junior outside hitter Jenna Cherry (Covington, La./Covington HS) led the way with 20 kills, and she added 17 digs as she was one of four Lady Bucs to post a double-double. Freshman outside hitters Leigh Stavrum (Chattanooga, Tenn./Notre Dame HS) and Michelle Hein (Tempe, Ariz./Corona del Sol HS) also added double-doubles. Stavrum had 11 kills and 20 digs, while Hein had 11 kills and 14 digs. Junior setter Brenna Blackburn (Sandy, Utah/Brighton HS) added 11 digs to her match-best 51 assists. Junior libero Bridget Buckley (Parker, Colo./Chaparral HS) collected a match-high 21 digs.

The Lady Bucs will end their season Saturday afternoon with a 1 p.m. Gulf South Conference West Division match against Arkansas-Monticello.
