Lady Bucs Finish Strong, Sweep UAM :: CBU finishes season with back-to-back wins

MEMPHIS--The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs finished their season with a three-game Gulf South Conference West Division sweep over Arkansas-Monticello Saturday afternoon at Canale Arena.

The Lady Bucs (12-21, 1-11 GSC West) took a 30-23, 30-28, 30-28 win as they ended the season with a two-match winning streak.

Freshman outside hitter Michelle Hein (Tempe, Ariz./Corona del Sol HS) and junior middle blocker Aubrey Pancratz (Chandler, Ariz./Corona del Sol HS) led the Lady Bucs with 11 kills each. Junior outside hitter Jenna Cherry (Covington, La./Covington HS) collected a team-high 16 digs to lead three Lady Bucs in double digits. Freshman outside hitter Leigh Stavrum (Chattanooga, Tenn./Notre Dame HS) had 15, while sophomore setter Brenna Blackburn (Sandy, Utah/Brighton HS) added 13 digs to her 40 assists.
